The Nomadic College Brazil 2010 will take place in Canoa Quebrada in the state of Ceara, a very cool little beach town with lots of options for lodging and food. I can help you find something that works for you. There is a pousada close by called Pousada Europa with shared rooms for $7 to $15/day with breakfast, or you can have your own little bungalow with a kitchen for $575 for the month. There are also nicer rooms close by for about $30/day with breakfast, available single or to share. I can help match people together from the NC so you can save money by sharing rooms. If money is really tight or you like being closer to nature, camping is available. You can get a sense of the town of Canoa Quebrada at www.portalcanoaquebrada.com.br. Please email me at \n // -->

You can expect to pay under $15/day for meals. for We are considering offering a meal plan on site, but if this is not available we will arrange meals close by. The NC site is in the upper left corner of this map, on Rua Beira Mar.
Also, please check as soon as possible to see if you need a travel visa. It can take up to five weeks to process so please don't delay. You'll need your itinerary, and in case you don't have your ticket yet, you want to fly into Fortaleza Airport. We can help coordinate transportation from the airport. A car service is available and we will try to match people who arrive around the same time to save costs, so please let us know your travel information as soon as possible. Otherwise there are buses for about $10. Here is a link to some local travel information.

The guiding philosophy behind the Nomadic College is a commitment to the intensification of the learning potential of each student. Each student is invited to choose their own focus within the context of the given material, depending on individual limitations or talents. The democratic nature of the information that the AS offers allows each student to harmonise their movements with universal principles, and in so doing find their own way to dance. This unique approach sponsors community and stimulates healthy social relations among classroom participants. The Nomadic College is dedicated first to public health and safety and then to the artistic expression of the experience of living on planet Earth.
